McAlpine architects was founded in 2002 with the idea of providing quality architectural services to developers, builders, contractors, and of course homeowners. McAlpine Architects is licensed in Illinois and Wisconsin and a proud member of AIA and ALA.

Principal architect Arif T. McAlpine is an Iowa State graduate and has many years of experience in architectural and construction management. Prior to starting his own practice, he served as project architect for highly prestigious design-build architectural firms in Lake Forest, Illinois. Projects he has managed for many years include custom homes, additions, re modeling, condominiums, office buildouts, animal hospitals, commercial offices, restaurants, religious institutions, car dealerships, and day care facilities to name a few.
